The Real Endangered Specie

Just last week I was driving around and came upon something I thought long extinct. No it wasn't a fish in some lake that the government is determined to save at the cost of untold Americans way of life.
No it was a simple mile section of gravel. Can you imagine a gravel road. These roads are what made America great. But know we travel on black top or concrete our roads for convience and ease of travel.
But everyone knows if you have driven down a gravel or dirt road is that they are unpredictable and speed is not an a assest. So you are best advised to slow down, lower your windows, crank up the radio and take your time.
Find a gravel road and get a slice of America before its gone.

Was Descartes Right

"I think therefore I am". René Descartes made this statement many eons ago and whether he was right or wrong this one statement caused people to do that very thing. We have to think what is this guy talking about.
Most people write more about this brief sentence than did Descartes originally. I too have fallen into this trap. So do you think.

Having written before I realize you must develop an audience of readers who are interested in what you are writing. One posting will not a make this site a success. So during the next few posts I try to find or reach out to you the reader or fan even people who knew me from the past.
